DIACRITICALS
KKOP recognizes the use of diacritical markings of the (modern) Hawaiian language including the ʻokina [ʻ] or glottal stop and the kahakō [ō] or macron (e.g., in place names of Hawaiʻi such as Lānaʻi). However, you may notice these diacritical markings have been omitted throughout the website to ensure the best online experience for our visitors. KKOP recognizes the importance of using these markings to preserve the language and culture of Hawaiʻi and respectfully uses them in all communications beyond the online platform. [adopted from hawaiitourismauthority.org]

NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY

Ke Kula ‘O Pi’ilani admits students of any race, color, national origin, and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship  and loan programs, and athletic and other school-administered programs.
